How Often Should I Rotate My Tires?

There are several components of your Kia car that are subject to wear over time. Brake pads are one such component, and the tires are another. Tires experience the most head-on contact of any major component, which is why tire rotation is a necessary procedure.

Regardless of your drivetrain—front-wheel, rear-wheel, or all-wheel drive—your tires will experience wear at differing rates. Without rotating your tires, you’re likelier to replace your tires sooner than you’d prefer.

Typically, you’ll need to rotate your tires about every 3,000 miles to 5,000 miles.

When Should I Replace My Kia Car Battery?

Chances are you’ve experienced this eye-rolling feeling: You place the key into your ignition, but the engine doesn’t turn over. This is likely the result of a dead or a failing battery—an issue that should be taken care of as soon as possible.

On average, a battery can last anywhere between three to five years. However, there are several factors that can impact the longevity of your battery—one of which includes your surrounding climate. Extreme heat or cold can take a toll on any battery.

If you believe you’re due for a Kia car battery replacement, keep an eye on these warning signs:

  • Dim interior lights or electrical issues
  • Slow-starting engine
  • Check engine light shows up on dashboard

When Do I Need an Oil Change?

Simply put, motor oil serves as the lifeblood of your Kia sedan or Kia SUV. Its functionality cannot be overstated. It keeps the engine at a cool temperature, and lubricates the surrounding components. Without motor oil, you face the likelihood of critical engine damage or failure.

There are a variety of motor oil types, each of which cater to different driving personalities. These include synthetic, high-mileage, and conventional oil. Modern machines don’t require oil changes as frequently as before, but it’s typically suggested that you change the oil anywhere from every 5,000 miles to 15,000 miles.

Reach out to us if you’re unsure how often you should be changing the oil. We’re available online and over the phone for quick information.
