Kia Sorento Trim Levels

Five trim levels are available in the Kia Sorento. All five are available with front-wheel drive (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD), depending on your preferred driving dynamics. The trim levels include:

• Kia Sorento LX
• Kia Sorento S
• Kia Sorento EX
• Kia Sorento SX
• Kia Sorento SX-Prestige

In case you didn’t think it was sporty enough, the top-tier Sorento SX-Prestige AWD is offered with an X-Line appearance package. It adds sleek and chic exterior details, including 20-inch wheels that really pop in profile. Plus, with a boosted ride height of 8.3 inches, you’ll really be in command of the road!

Choose Your Kia Engine

As you configure your new Kia Sorento, you will have four engines to choose from to power your drive. Keep in mind that not every engine is available on every trim level, which may affect what you choose.

Options include two internal combustion engines and two electrified motors, all four available in both FWD and AWD configurations. The two gas-only powerplants are a 2.5L 4-cylinder (191 horsepower) and a 2.5L turbo 4-cylinder (281 horsepower).

If you’d rather have hybrid power at your disposal, the 1.6L turbo hybrid 4-cylinder with 44kW electric motor (227 horsepower) makes it possible. Meanwhile, for drivers who want to be on the cutting edge, a 1.6L turbo plug-in hybrid 4-cylinder with 66.9kW electric motor (261 horsepower) will have late availability.

Kia Sorento Technology

Like all Kia vehicles, the Sorento comes loaded with the latest in technology features. Many of them are available only on higher trim levels, and we’ll cover them here.

For instance, the Sorento is available with a 12.3-inch Digital Instrument Cluster. It’s a first for any Kia SUV and a more convenient way to access all your driving data on a customizable screen.

An available 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen will be the talk of the town, too. Not only does it offer haptic feedback, but it allows new multi-connection Bluetooth® wireless that connects two smartphones at the same time. You and your front passenger can connect simultaneously!
